Today I would like to present you with the idea of how to sort out everything that we do in search engine optimization into various elements. Let’s call them “operations”.

Operations and project activities.

According to management theory, the activity can be divided globally into two different entities:

  • operational activities
  • project activities

What is the project activity?

This is when in the process of creating a project, each time you meet with something new. Checking whether a sufficient number of keys or, conversely, is excessive when there is a risk of falling under some filters. If we reveal the fact of filter imposition, we prescribe the most detailed recommendations for getting out of it.

The result of this work: verification and compliance with certain recommended indicators, which are calculated by our scripts and recommendations are given by a specialist manually, to change the text or content. Or on the implementation of information inserts inside the page in HTML code. One way or another, all the same, these are prescribed parameters without surprises. What are the quality criteria in SEO?

What criteria do we have for each operation? By itself, the list of operations that I can give you, or which you write yourself, is not the key to success.

Fluid Web Design

Fluid design is also known as liquid design. In this, the width is not given in pixels but in percentages. It changes whenever the size of the screen varies. It is given in percentages with respect to the dimensions of the screen it is viewed on. For example, if a picture takes up 20% width of the total screen, this 20% varies for different sizes of the screens.

Everything that is visible on the web page is built by specifying the percentages rather than fixed values. This type of liquid design is a lot better when compared to the fixed type of web designing. The sizes of the text/images increase or decrease accordingly with the variation of the screen size.



Drawbacks of Fluid Web Design

The one obvious drawback of fluid web designing is that it will not look good on at least one of the screens (small or big). If the web page is designed for larger screens then when it is viewed on a small screen it looks crowded and similarly, when the web page is designed for a smaller screen and is viewed on a large screen it looks somewhat empty. However, it is a lot better than the fixed type of design and is used in some scenarios where the other options are worse.

Adaptive Web Design

Adaptive web design is the most accommodating type of web designing available. As the name suggests in adaptive web design there are versions of the web page available and they are adapted according to the size of the screen the web page is viewed on. It is called adaptive web design because it adapts according to the size and dimensions of the screen the web page is viewed on. It is designed in various forms for specific sizes of the screen. This was first introduced in 2011 by Aaron Gustafson in his book.

Responsive Web Design

Responsive web design is somewhat similar to adaptive web design. This term was first introduced by Ethan Marcotte in his book about responsive web designing. Unlike adaptive web design responsive web design changes according to the change in the browser width. Where on one hand adaptive web design is designed only for a few standard browser sizes responsive web design responds according to the changes in the sizes of the browses.
